Picaxe editor with Windows 10 tablet

Hi,

In principle yes, but the "tablet" will need a suitable USB (host) socket (or equivalent) and maybe an "On The Go" cable (and serial adapter) to actually program a PICaxe. Also a bluetooth mouse might make it easier to use with PE6.

Cheers, Alan.

If other X86 applications run on the Windows 10 tablet then there should not be any reason that PICAXE Programming Editor 6 will not run on it.

If you can provide details of the tablet, manufacturer, model, or provide a link to the product, we may be able to give better advice. If you actually have the tablet the easiest thing to do would be to install it and see what happens. And it would be great if you could report your results.

Editor should absolutely RUN on any Win10 device. The only question is whether the tablet's hardware and USB port work properly with your programming cable. Will you be using the AXE027 cable? I'd say that and a name-brand tablet have excellent odds of working properly.
