Can I use an 08M2 chip in macAXEpad on PowerPC
It doesn't seem to be listed as an available chip
Is there a workaround?
Cheers

Welcome to the PICAXE Forum.

I am not familiar with our Mac software but downloading the MacAXEpad for PowerPC Mac .tar.gz file and inspecting that, it appears to include the 08M2 compiler, from which I would assume it supported the 08M2.

Thanks for checking, I've downloaded it again with the same result in Mode
PICAXE-08M
PICAXE-14M

No 08M2 and of course 08M has the wrong firmware.
I know this is a rare problem! Who uses PowerBooks!

OT: I use Apple equipment almost exclusively ... except for PICAXE programming and testing. I have a 'throwdown' PC for PICAXE, and I kind of like it that way.
