Simple(?) question on the PE

Hi All

I have what is probably a simple question to answer for those who know a bit about the PE (latest version).

If I run (simulate on the computer only, no PICAXE attached) the Master Code in the following link, it seems that the PE automatically returns the echoed values from what would be the Slave version of the code. I do have the Slave code open in another tab but it isn't in simulation mode.

Is the PE "filling in the gaps"??? Otherwise, I don't understand how I'm getting the return values.

Just accidently stumbled across this in the PE.



I gather this answers my own question??? By ticking/checking "Simulate all slave addresses" I gather that's how the values are automatically returned. Correct?

I just wanted to confirm. I didn't know the PE could do that. Another great feature when testing code!!!
