I will be 8257.23 km away from you, otherwise I would definitively attend!

Hopefully there will be a video upload of your talk.

Good for you Stuart! I too would be interested in any video resulting. Are you intending a demo?

Lora™'s uptake admirably continues to surge, typified by terrestrial applications like this Internet of Skiers.

A great presentation Stuart,with very lucid graphics, & no doubt thirsty work ! I predictably fired on your tail end LoRa™ mention, ( starting ~28 mins),but it may mention a dead URL (as it missed the .co ) & should probably be http://www.loratracker.co.uk/. Perhaps clarify the LoRa™ range boost TX power? Although allowed if a ham the 100mW may be confused with the UK 433 MHz 10mW limit ?

There's a camp overview here =>http://hackaday.com/2016/08/11/emf-camp-2016-a-personal-review/

It was a presentation that was clearly discussing Amateur satellites, differentiating between that and license exempt use there was not the time forand it would likley of confused the target audiance anyway.

Thanks for the excellent presentation, revealing the important architectural decisions to be made and the conclusions about which of them worked best. Your story reminded me of (and confirms) a statement that I heard from someone when I was a researcher on Software Architecture at Philips Research: Ït's always the non-functional requirements that in the end largely define and shape the actual design and implementation. Very inspirational write-up.
