Option / Interactive Tooltips

The item "Tooltip Display Delay (ms) ####" doesn't actually function at all.

Adjustment can be made in the option, but nothing visible happens in the editor.

Thanks for the report and I have noted that for investigation.

I presume you are saying that tooltips do appear, but always pop-up instantly or after a fixed delay rather than after the delay specified in Options. Please correct me if the behaviour you are seeing is different to that.

It may be something to do with other Windows configuration options made for performance but I cannot really say until we have investigated that.

I should have been a bit more specific. Windows 7 Home. (Soon to be Windows 10.)

That is exactly what happens. I like having the tooltips, but they get in the way when highlighting for copy/paste/drag operations.

The extra delay is necessary for that.
