How can I use the A.O to A.3 as an Input on a picaxe 28x1?

Is your question related to use as a digital input or analog input.

Hippy has provided a response for digital input use.

Analog wise you use the READADC command.

The portA pins on the X1 parts are not capable of use with commands such as SERIN, PULSIN, etc. Thus a little more limited in functionality compared with the newer X2 parts.
