NFC and PN532 II2C

Has anyone done any project II2C with the PN532 NFC ?
I have worked with Arduino but I haven't seen anything in Picaxe.

But I found nothing specific to you proposed NXP I2C based RFID chip.

The fact that it uses an i2c interface should make it easy if you have some experience with i2c comms.

Just remember that while some datasheets stat a 7-bit value for the i2c slave address this must be shifted left (*2) for PICAXE

The PN532 seems to be quite a complicated device but that is not surprising given what its capabilities as an NFC interface are. I suspect it might involve a fair deal of studying the datasheet which appears to be here -

My idea was to make a reader-writer using the module that sold on ebay,
but instead of using it with Arduino, make it with Picaxe. As I see no
any project in the forum, I'll try to adapt to Picaxe and if I do I'll post
forum.

If there is example code for Arduino or any other micro it will help in creating code for the PICAXE and there may be help for doing that on the forum.

The I2C interfacing is the easy part, it is using the module which is harder, knowing what to send and what is received to achieve a desired result.
