Xbee Wizard

I am trying to use the xbee wizard within programming editor and not having much success. I have probably missed something but I can not find any details of how to connect the xbee. Do I connect it directly via the download cable or does the xbee need connecting to a picaxe chip first.

I have the xbee connected to a sparkfun breakout board - does this make a difference?

The XBee Wizard is expecting to communicate using an AXE027 through an AXE210 "GPS Connect Kit" board which has a MAX3232 chip fitted and XBee plugged-in.

The AXE210 board's MAX3232 ensures the signal polarity and voltages are appropriate to communicate with the XBee.

I am not familiar with the Sparkfun beakout board; do you have a link for the board you have ?
