New users for PE6+Lubuntu+Wine

I have PICAXE Editor 6 working with Wine in Lubuntu.

Is it possible to create a new user with the same items (exe and dll) installed?
Or do I need to reinstall PE6 and needed dll to every new user?

You could create a new user and see what happens. As most people probably don't have that configuration it is probably the quickest way to get an answer.

I wouldn't have thought it all needed installing for each user but there might be some issues related to permissions or user configuration along the way.

Sorry. I wrote this post after create a new user and check that there was nothing in Wine.

Wine doesn't allow the sharing of a prefix (wine directory) due to risk of registry issues from multiple people accessing at the same time.

Once you get your install all squared away...you can copy your prefix into another users directory, and they should be in business...all installed and ready to go (wine-wise)...you'll still need to add users to dialout group.

Your wine prefix is a directory in your home folder...probably called ".wine"
