Is there a significant difference between using the Serial Terminal F8 and Datalink F9?
When I receive a long string of data, I've noticed that if I use Serial Terminal, I can watch the bytes scrolling by. However when I copy the Input Buffer, the data is truncated to the (aprox) last 2 kilobytes.
I've not seen this limitation with Datalink.
Is this a normal behavior?
I'm using editor 5.5.5 running on Windows 7
Edit, I downloaded the 5.5.6 patch...same issue
