    More current from the uln2803a

    Just an FYI i found you can succesfully piggyback the uln2803a to increase current output. I have now 4 chips in place and can operate muscle wire with my picaxe and no overheating. Just a note if anyone needs the info Irf 540 = 1.10, 4 uln2803a 60cents for 8 outputs

    can i2c trigger a chain of pics?

    sustained event trigger

    Can I is active have an 08m look at a triggered input and depending on the time in seconds it is active then apply power to an output. Ie pir sees motion for more than 6-10 seconds then apply alarm.

    ULN2803A on axe 18 board

    Quick question, The unit on the axe18 board is rated at 500ma at 1 output and 250ma at 4 outputs and 125ma at 8 outputs. Will i increase that 125ma rating by sinking the dip? Roughly Im tring to pulse more than 10 leds per output including some constant on cycles. Edited by - alima on...

    PWM desulphator

    can i force 08M-18-28 to PWM 1K hertz to irf540 and shield it from the rf crated by the isolation tranformer so as to not cause false triggering? Any thoughts would be great.

    multi threads (help please)

    i cant find any info as to multi treading a picaxe, is it possible (in code) to force outputs to trigger at different frequencies at the sametime?? Like say to flash leds together but at different rates?

    IRF 530 (NEED MORE CURRENT)

    Hi everyone. I need more current flow than the IRF530 can supply. Relay is too big. Will the output from the 18a drive a heavier MOSFET without producing the magic smoke???
