I have a switch on pin3.. If the switch becomes open, i want the piezo to make a constant sound until the switch is closed again.. How do i write a program to make the piezo do that?

Hey, recently purchased the proto board and the *M chip. was trying to run a simple programme on to the chip. But says my hardware doesnt match. when i go to options>mode i cannot select 8M, why not? and how do i go about so i can?
