Xbee Antennae snapped off

Hi all, i return back to the world of picaxe!
what shall i do if my ant breaks off, if i resolder it will this cause any issues re feedback etc, or will i just loose length of transmission?
does it have to be a specific length?

I expect you can just solder it back on, and there aren't really a lot of options otherwise.

There probably is some tuned, ideal length. You could solder a slighter longer bit of wire on and trim it down mm by mm until you hit a peak.
