I am suing Windows XP with SP2 installed and when i push run(program) in Programing Editor it displays this: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. It will let me run Programing Editor but it wont let me do this...

I am looking for options fo a <$40 PICAXE prototype setup. I want PICAXE 18X chip, and a bit of space to solder components to. Do yous have any ideas?
