Because of flywheel has a lot of wobble I cannot mount a sensor close to it. Have thought about a bike tacho but the display screen is too small and pick-up has to be close to the wheel (wobble problem) Have also tried an opotical tacho which reflects light off reflective tape. This worked OK...
