Assembler - The PIC Source Book

A long time ago, one of the PIC pioneers published a book which gave PIC assembly code for BASIC-like statements- similar to the Basic Stamp command set.

The world and micro controllers have changed a lots since then, but if you ever want to know how an assembly programmer would approach a PIC BASIC'ish coding task, the link below will take you on a trek back in time to 1993.

Many thanks to Scott Edwards for placing his code in the public domain.

The PIC Source Book

My PDF compilation has been removed by Technical and I respect the decision of RevEd to do so. However, my continued belief is that a summary of material, edited, and organized was appropriate based upon this statement:
the Source Book is reaching the end of its commercial life. Rather than discontinue it, the author has decided to make it available free via the Internet.

Free means free. You may use this material in any way you wish without obligation to the author. The author bears no liability for the consequences of such use, and will not support users of this free edition in any way.
While I cannot post the document, I will honor PM requests to email it to any forum member that requests.
