Info nneded picaxe microcontroller

Dear buddies, I want to use Picaxe microcontroller. So just to ask, what types of resistors can I use with them and what will be the approximate cost of them? Where can I get 5 volt regulator too?What can I use as a diffuser? Any information regarding them will be praiseworthy. Thanks in advance .

Bravo on getting this far! There are many global agents -WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? For hookup & application ideas see the likes of => www.picaxe.orcon.net.nz , especially the simple breadboard approaches. When getting to know PICAXEs you do not usually need a 5 V regulator - just 3 x AA batteries will do for starters. The programming resistors are 10k & 22k. Diffuser- maybe lost in translation ????
