USB CABLE

Laptop running Windows XP, will not load USB AXE 027 cable. Does this need special software and where do I get it from?

I'm a little confused about the installation of drivers for the AXE027.

I've downloaded the drivers and have a folder of various files.

I read the pdf for installing on XP (the FT one) and it gives examples of installation referring to a CDM file. I haven't got a CDM file.

If I insert cable (New Hardware found etc) and tell it I will install software, I cannot get it to work. (The folder where I've stored the downloaded drivers is 'greyed out')

Sorry, I'm really confused about what to do next and I don't want to click at random as that may end in an early bath.

Oh, its OK now. There was just an extra step to do. Seems OK now.

Post Script: I just want to add that it works extremely well with all sorts of serial stuff.
