New syntax not working in editor 5.0.7

I installed the 5.0.7 on top of the old 4.0.x (I didn't see the patch, so did a complete install, kind of expecting an uninstall or update to take place as necessary).

Once installed, the new prog editor works fine and is the latest version, but all the new syntax does not work/compile ('mistake in this line'). This includes a copy/paste of the 'if then gosub' sample from the new programming guide.

the help/about box shows version 5.0.7 with syntax dll 131072. Is this right? Am I missing something?

I have uninstalled both entries of prog edit in control panel, deleted the prog editor dir in program files (after proper uninstall), rebooted and reinstalled 5.0.7 but I still have the same issue (incl DLL verion).

Any thoughts?

duh!

Thanks for the help, this works.

Whilst I'm in a asking stupid questions mode... how do I get collapsing blocks to work?

Thanks

View>Options>Editor menu again (use line numbers must also be selected as well as blocks)!

Then use { and } on different lines in your code.
