picaxe software copy

would it be ok if i transferred the picaxe software including all the neccesary files for Picaxe from my school computers(with permission) and put it on a flash drive and transferred it on to my home computer. Because i have had many problems downloading this software at home.
would it still work if i did it that way????

Just copying the files from the directory or folder the Programming Editor is installed in will not work.

You need to obtain the single BAS805.EXE or the *.MSI file which is on the CD. You may also need the INSTMSIA.EXE Microsoft Installer but this should already be on your XP system.
