installer doesn't work

hi we just started picaxe at school and i wanted to have a go at it at home but when i try to download the installer it gets to around 6 megs and then it says that it finished. i opened it and it said 'error reading setup initialization file'. so i download it again and it stops at 8 megs with same error. tried again and it said the same message at 8 megs. i read the thing about the service pack and downloaded it (im running win me) but it still doesn't download after i installed it.

What do i do? Pls help me!!!!

yea i do and i saw the thread but there is no solution at the end. guess ill have to get a friend to download it and burn it onto a cd for me. any way thanks for replying cuz i had the exact same problems that useless had.

Or perhaps get the school to copy the CD they have for you to use ?

Not sure what Rev-Ed's / Technical's view is on doing that ...
