Installed fine, rebooted, and get popup box with above error. Second line of error is "unexpected error"

Runtime error 50003 is an undocumented Windows error which - according to Microsoft - occurs when more than one or different versions of the same *.dll or *.ocx are present on a system. Therefore you should first check for multiple instances of .ocx and .dlls on your system.

This is a local issue on your machine - the installation procedure itself would not cause this problem.

Thanks for the replies, it was 98lite that caused it, the mix of 95 kernel and 98 running gear, while making for a VERY fast system, introduces instabilities like this.!!
Re-installed vanilla 98 and guess what, no more problems!!
