Running onto chip 8M

Hey,
recently purchased the proto board and the *M chip. was trying to run a simple programme on to the chip. But says my hardware doesnt match. when i go to options>mode i cannot select 8M, why not? and how do i go about so i can?

 

Sounds like you might have a very old version of the editor. Which version are you using?

yeh, i was using the one given to me in the starter pack, which i just realised is version 4.0.0, so ill try downloading the latest version and see if that works
