Tech at rev-ed has said before that they don't see why Linux support is needed, tho' there documentation of schools using it... found this earlier today, thought it might be of interest.

The programming editor is very close to working correctly under recent versions of Wine. Stand by I would expect it will be functional soon!
Anyone have any updates to running the editor under Wine on Linux? It's driving me nuts, having to flip my laptop (which normally lives in Linux mode) into Windows just to run the editor. Productivity would be so much better if I could program PICAXE chips while in the environment I do all the rest of my work (including CAD and PCB design and documentation) in!
