axe027 driver instalation problem mac

when I wad installing the axe027 usb cable for mac at the step where I typr into terminal
terminal responds
how do I fix this

The 'ls' command should be available on all versions of Linux and Linux based Mac so it could be you have misread it as One-Ess rather than El-Ess. The full command is El-Ess-Space-Minus-El.

I started to try that yesterday but when I saw that the terminal one looked like the example and the L did not I tried that instead.
