When no MacAxePad windows are open, the File>New and Open menu items are greyed out,

When no MacAxePad windows are open, the File>New and Open menu items are greyed out, when they shouldn't be. Also erroneously greyed out are the View>Options and the whole of the Help menu.
This means, to be able to use these menu items again, I have to firstly open a recent program by going to "File>Open Recent", the only menu item that is not greyed out.

This can be inconvenient if I want to open a non-recent program or create a new program if I have no AxePad windows open yet, due to the above.

Could this be fixed?

I'm running AxePad 1.2.0 with the above problem on Mac OS 10.6.8. Has this problem been noted down?
