Windows 2000 Loading problem

The software seems to load but then on attempting to run opens and freezes with the "about" screen staying present. I have disabled firewall and tried several re installations.

Has anyone any ideas ?

Hi dennis, On the Rev.Ed website there is a windows installer update.you might want to try it if you hav'nt all ready.

I still have problems getting the software to run. I have disabled firewall and anti virus run the installer update and still get the screen freeze when starting the software. I have now built an experimenter board and tried the CD that came with it - still exactly the same result.

Has anyone any ideas ? ust to know that this software runs on Windows 200 would be helpful

This sounds like an incorrect software installation under Windows. Make sure, for instance, that your windows/system folder files are not write protected, hence preventing updates when required during installation.

There are no known issues with running on 2000, so this must be a local installation issue somewhere on your machine.
