programmer problems with installing

ok, yea, i was pausing the download the first two times, and so I tried it straight off, and it worked up to the fiile having a setup icon. But when i try to install, it says "error reading initialization file". What does this mean? I downloaded the updated installer and that did not fix it. I am on Win 98SE. What now?

i get the same error, except i have windows xp without sp 2

well nvm it downloaded wrong a few times.

Solution. try not using a download accelarator. try downloading it from another computer or browser
