This list details the current handling capabilities of PICAXE chips. Data is taken from the Microchip datasheets - These may be subject to change or re-rating and figures here are not guaranteed to be correct so always check the latest datasheets before use. E&OE.
Current "sourced through chip" is the current into VDD (+V), current "sunk through chip" is the current out of VSS (0V).
These are absolute maximum ratings at -40°C to +85°C and may need to be derated at more extreme dempeartures. Stresses above those listed may cause permanent damage to the device. Exposure to maximum rating conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability. Please see the Microchip datasheet for full and further details on absolute maximum ratings.
